CFE 50th Anniversary Conference_Making Europe more competitive - Where are we after 50 years ?
The Confédération Fiscale Européenne (CFE) has celebrated last year its 50th anniversary in Paris where its seat is located. To highlight this event, the CFE has organised an Anniversary Conference with the "Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux" together with "l'Union Professionnelle des Sociétés d'Avocats" which took place at the Sacem, in Paris on Friday 25 September 2010. The topic of the anniversary conference was "Making Europe more competitive - Where are we after 50 years?”

The CFE was organising the conference “The Tax Adviser profession: ownership and cooperation - How much regulation is needed?” on Wednesday 26 November 2008. The intention of the conference was to reflect on how regulations on the tax adviser profession are pervading the profession particularly as regards of ownership and cooperation.
Conference on Professional Affairs in Brussels / 2007
On Tuesday 20 November 2007, the conference on „Tax Advisers - Undermining or enhancing the tax system?“ -Tax Advisers, Revenue Authorities and Tax Payers - Relationships and Interactions” was held in Brussels.
CFE Meetings in Dublin
From Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 September 2007 the CFE meetings took place in Dublin. The technical meetings of the General Assembly, the Fiscal Committee, Professional Affairs Committee and the Advisory Board of the Past Presidents were held in the conference center attached to the Croke Park Stadium which provided an impressive backdrop. The arena is the largest stadium venue in Ireland. Following its redevelopment, Croke Park has capacity for 82,300 people and in 2007 over 2 million people are expected to visit the stadium.
Conference in Amsterdam
On 24 November 2006 a conference on “The influence of European law on direct taxation. Recent and future developments” took place in Amsterdam. The conference had been organised with the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB) and the Amsterdam Center for International Law (ACIL) in cooperation with the CFE.
